Who is the liberal and who is the conservative?

ONE: One of the main reasons I feel so strongly about the current political situation is that I believe if the other side gets its way, irreversible damage will be done or already has been done.

TWO: That’s what I think too, except I think it’s true about the other side.

ONE: Wow! Right off the bat there’s something we have in common. Let me keep going with that. I think that having the other side in power will lead to less freedom and more poverty in this country.

TWO: That is what I think too! But again I think that about the other side.

ONE: Cool – that’s another thing we have in common! Here’s one more. I believe that if my side is in power long enough, it will result in our country becoming more prosperous, our society becoming more stable and more decent and future generations being happier and better off.

TWO: I believe that too!

ONE: So are both want to avoid damaging or nation, we both want our country to become more decent, stable, prosperous and free, we want our current actions to lead to future generations to being happier and better off and we both want to bridge the divide between opposing sides of the political spectrum.
